Shades of Long Island Episode 2 Highlights Black History and Excellence on Long Island

We’re back with a brand new episode of Shades of Long Island!

His sunglasses have been featured in Vibe Magazine and seen on the face of countless celebrities from Lola Brooke and PnB Rock to Daymond Johnson and Joe Burrow. Malik Morris, founder of the fashion brand Malik Dupri, sat down with us to talk about how he got to where he is now. Next, we spoke with the family of Lt. Lee Hayes during the renaming of an Amagansett park in his honor.

The former Tuskegee airmen made also made Long Island history. We also chatted with anti-bullying activist Devin Moore who we covered back in 2019 following a racist bullying incident. He is now in college and on top of being an activist, he has a new book!
