Almost 50% of New York residents are fully vaccinated, and more incentives are being offered to work towards getting more New Yorkers vaccinated. Many freebies currently being offered will require customers to either get vaccinated on-site or show proof of vaccination to redeem the promotion.
1. Krispy Kreme: Free Donuts
The donut chain is offering one free donut per customer with proof of vaccination. The promotion will continue through the end of 2021.
2. Shake Shack: Free Fries
Now through Sat. June 12, New Yorkers can redeem free french fries at any participating location, proof of vaccination is required.
3. Yankees: Free Yankee Tickets
Get vaccinated at Yankee Stadium and you will qualify for complementary Yankee tickets.
4. Mets: Free Mets Tickets
Get vaccinated at Citi Field and receive a voucher. It’s good for two tickets to future Mets games.
5. American Museum of Natural History: Free Admission
Get vaccinated under the famous big whale and you will qualify for free future admission.
6. NYC Attractions: Free Admission
Announced by New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio, free tickets after vaccination will be offered by the following New York City attractions:
- NYC Aquarium
- Brooklyn Botanical Garden
- Bronx Zoo
- Lincoln Center
- Brooklyn Cyclones
- NYC Ferry
- Public Theater
7. New York State: Four-Year Scholarships to SUNY/CUNY
Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that New York State will raffle off 50 four-year scholarships to any public college or university in the state. New Yorkers between the ages 12-17-years-old who receive the COVID-19 vaccine, now through July 7 are eligible to enroll in the state-wide raffle. Parents or legal guardians can enroll anyone who qualifies for a chance to win. Winners will be drawn weekly, for the next five weeks.
8. United Airlines: Free Flights
Mileageplus members who upload their vaccination card to their account before June 22 will be automatically entered in a chance to win either a free round trip flight for two or free flights for a year. Winners will be announced throughout June until July 1.
