A few weeks ago, I recorded this video. Basically, it’s just me venting about my current situation. I wanted to share this moment because there are so many people struggling with so many different things right now.

I realize that there are many other people experiencing far worse things right now, and I do not want to take attention away from the Black Lives Matter movement, or pride.

Let this be a reminder that it’s okay not to be okay.

Born and raised on long island. I live with a form of congenital muscular dystrophy. My condition makes my muscles extremely weak. However, I never let it stop me. I have a huge passion for disability rights and advocacy. I use my social media platforms and blog to advocate for disabled people and educate the public on what being disabled is like in todays society. I have a bachelors degree from Hofstra University in PR, and currently work as a grant writer/researcher. Along with this, I also run riizzyray ltd, which I started at the beginning of 2020. My brand is all about self love and just being the best you you can be.
