#WomensHistoryMonth Spotlight: WolfTyla

For Women’s History Month, we want to focus on Long Island women doing great things in the community and abroad. This time we’re highlighting Wolftyla.

She flexed her social media skills and gained prominence as a social media sensation, when she started posting comedic videos on Vine. She also created a channel on YouTube and started posting a variety of videos. Apart from posting music videos, she has also posted skincare routine, hauls, and tutorials, helping her channel gather over 95,000 subscribers.

Wolftyla then went full speed ahead into her music career as a singer-songwriter for Interscope Records. Her track “Feels” has accumulated more than 7 million plays on SoundCloud. She also appeared in Tory Lanez’s music video for “Say It” and has performed on stage with PartyNextDoor. She has also worked with such artists as PnB Rock Elle Varner and more. Her other songs include “Candy,” “All Tinted” and more. She often honors her Korean and Black culture within her videos.

The New York native is the founder of the #WolfMovement, a movement that promotes positivity and spreading love. Wolftyla is also a businesswoman, with her own online merchandise store.
