#WomensHistoryMonth Spotlight: Wendy Rodriguez

In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re putting a spotlight on women who are making moves and holding it down for the Long Island community. Today we’re highlighting Wendy Rodriguez.

She’s a Guatemalan-American, proud mother of three beautiful girls. At 21 she purchased a popular franchise Curves. At 26, she decided to start her own brand Ultimate Sweat Zone (USZ) Ladies Fitness and Kids Dance Studio.

In 2016, she was a featured author of the Best Seller “Today’s Inspired Latina” in the same year she founded Fearless Footsteps, a non-profit organization that has raised more than $25,000 for children in Brentwood with the mission to empower young adults.

Wendy has more than 12 certifications in health, exercise, nutrition, communication, marketing and branding. On top of everything else, she’s a realtor and the host and CEO of the Facebook Live show “Brillando Sin Limites” and is part of the cast of the radio show “La Gozadera Del Medio Dia” on 98.5 FM.

As if that wasn’t enough, she also serves as the president of the 58-year-old Brentwood Chamber of Commerce New York increasing awareness in the community about economic opportunities.
