L. Jean and Five Artists Sync Up For a Pick Six Series

If you’ve ever placed a bet or played the lottery, pick six is a familiar term. Upcoming Producer, Holtsville resident and Artist L. Jean is planning to incorporate this same concept all throughout the month of November.

He’s wasting no time with his Pick Six Series. He’ll be releasing six projects in six weeks from six artists he’s collaborated with. The grand finale will be the release of his own album “LIMBO.”

“My biggest influences have all exclusively took on projects from Timbaland with Missy, Aaliyah and Justin Timberlake to Metro Boomin’ with 21 Savage,” said L. Jean. “I think it’s essential for producers to find that connection with an artist where you’re able to make a lot of music and it not sound saturated or boring.”

One of the artists in the Pick Six series, D’meetri, has been making music for over 10 years now, and he’s confident that the series will bring out some refreshing and unique sounds.

“I’m excited to be apart of this project,” said Artist and Pick Six Participant D’Meetri. “I got roped into it by the homie L. Jean and I met him via the incredible World Wide Web. Bro is talented and I think what will come from this is not only a bunch of fresh sounds, but a wonderful connection between me and L. Jean.”

Other artists in the series include FANFAN, Remy, Dre Hass and Dellz.

“I’m using this as not only a way to collaborate and give music to the supporters, but also to challenge my ability as a producer and writer,” said L. Jean.

D’meetri’s project “Fade” and “Takeover” by Remy, have already been released. Stay up to date with the series and click here.
