5 Inspirational Videos You Should Watch to Start Your Day

How you wake up in the morning can set the tone for the rest of your day. If you wake up grouchy, unmotivated or upset, everything may not go so good, and that can stretch out into a painstaking day. If you feel like everything is stacked against you, look to these motivational speakers to give you a boost.

1) Get Comfortable With Being Uncomfortable – Luvvie Ajayi

Writer, activist and self-proclaimed troublemaker Luvvie Ajayi speaks her mind despite fear of potential consequences. In her Ted Talk “Get Comfortable with Being Uncomfortable” she encourges others to do the same. He talks about the commonality among successful people such as Emmitt Smith and 50 Cent, which is hunger for success. Thomas reiterates that the pain and setbacks you will experience on your journey are temporary and will lead to success. He also gives a powerful reminder that people of past generations such as enslaved Africans and Civil Rights activist didn’t quit in the harshest of conditions, so why should we. Here the late, legendary Writer, Actress and Activist Maya Angelou recites one of her most famous poems “Still I Rise”. She confidently speaks of her rising despite being brought down by hate. Angelou acknowledges haters and questions why they are so mad at her confidence in a lighthearted manner. She asserts her confidence and it inspires the viewer to be confident as well.
